Here are some highlights from March so far:
We attended the Sensory Safari put on by the CNIB and the Royal Alberta Museum. It's an event where visually impaired individuals can come and explore exhibits in more hands-on ways. We love this event every year!
A rhinoceros skull
Ryan caught Madeline giving this duck a kiss!
Claire loves exploring at this event.
Nice gum, Maddie.
The girls have been doing very well in ballet. It's a pretty fun experience, although we usually have a tricky time adapting things for Claire.
This year marked the 25th anniversary of the Big Band Dinner Dance, a WCHS high school tradition where all the musical groups perform for guests who enjoy a delicious dinner and dancing. This year, alumni students were invited to come back as part of the jazz singing and jazz band groups, so both Natalie and I took on the opportunity!
It was lots of fun. I forgot how much I enjoyed playing in a musical group like that!
We love playing with lights in this house. It's good for Claire sensory experience and just plain fun for everyone.
We had a birthday extravaganza for Mom, Rob, Nat and Madeline. After a delicious meal at The Keg, we went to our house for cake and presents.
You can never go wrong with Barbies for Madeline!
Claire and Noah enjoyed tearing the tissue paper to shreds. :)
Grandma brought this most excellent hat for the birthday peeps.
Some birthday faces
(our new camera lens takes great portraits...now we just need one that can zoom!)
Grandma made delicious Black Forest cupcakes.
Happy Birthday everyone!
This reminds me of Greg, ha ha!
There's hardly any snow left!
Ryan and Madeline ventured out on a long bike ride on a beautiful afternoon.
Ryan's been busy with lots of work, taking his school track team to the Edmonton Journal Indoor games and taking a digital video class from Vistek.
We were lucky to have a visit from the Thompsons while they welcomed their new little one to the world.
The kids had fun at the park one afternoon.
It was very fun to hold a brand new Lukas!
Dads know just how to cuddle a baby. :)
Just a few cute pictures of Claire.
Extreme close up!
Madeline says:
We should help the community by giving people stickers.
Rock and roll people don't take baths.
The end.
